Chef Meik Brammer Spearheads Marriott Manila’s Kitchen Team

Marriott Hotel recently had their feeding program together with Philippine Red Cross. Marriott's "Spirit to Serve" is a project of the hotel as part of their social responsibility to the community. The "Spirit to Serve" fed 1,000 people from 2 barangays in Pasay City that was affected by Typhoon Maring.

Lead by Marriott’s Executive Chef Meik Brammer and his Kitchen Team, they prepared a special 'Paella'. Everyone was very excited, even me! Kids and even seniors lined up to try the delectable Paella.

I love the energy and passion of Chef Brammer. Marriott Hotel Manila takes pride in introducing a young and vibrant Executive Chef-- Meik Brammer. A 33 year old Brammer is a native of Beirut, Germany and started his career breakthrough at the famed Reneissance Zurich Hotel as a demi chef. He took charge in the banquet, outside caterings, and in the lunch buffet in the all-day dining restaurant which gave him the “Associate of the Month” recognition.

Chef Meik’s flamboyant, sociable personality creates a distinctive flair for being flexible as he interacts with the guests. He describes himself as “an outgoing person who would like to interact with guests and delight them in every way possible from a culinary point of view.”

Fuelled by his love for eating and cooking, the young chef also likes to travel a lot.   With Chef Meik’s larger than life personality, he makes sure he injects it throughout the hotel’s dining experience. He adds, “Marriott Hotel Manila’s signature fun, high-quality dining experience in a welcoming setting has surely won the hearts and palates of many guests.”
