MOR Pinoy Music Awards 2014

The highly anticipated MOR Pinoy Music Awards (MORPMA) and the MOR Anniversary will be held this coming Friday, July 11, 2014 at the Mall of Asia Arena.  ‘MOR 101.9’ will give back to their listeners and pay tribute to the current OPM artists in the country.

The MOR Music Awards & anniversary will feature some of the biggest names in the Philippine music industry in a free show at MOA Arena. Some of the categories that will be awarded during MORPMA are Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year and Male Artist of the Year.

 

According to MOR the winners will be awarded based on the total number of votes from texters, the MORPMA Awards Committee and a special group of judges composed of Lani Misalucha, OPM Vice Pres. for Special Events Christian Bautista, and FILSCAP President Noel Cabangon.

Among the awards to be announced that night are Song of the Year, Album of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year. The awardees will be determined according to the total number of votes from texters, MORPMA Awards Committee, and a special group of judges composed of Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Organisasyon ng Pilipinong Mang-aawit (OPM) vice president for special events Christian Bautista, and Filipino Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (FILSCAP) president Noel Cabangon.

Expect My Only Radio (MOR) ambassadors Daniel Padilla and Vice Ganda as well as performances from other OPM stars namely Parokya ni Edgar, Bugoy Drilon, Christian Bautista, Darryl Shy, Edward Benosa, Eurika, Jireh Lim, Kathryn Bernardo, Klarisse de Guzman, KZ Tandingan, Liezel Garcia, Noel Cabangon, and Sam Concepcion.

My Only Radio (MOR) 101.9 For Life! was relaunched last July 2013, with Daniel Padilla, Toni Gonzaga, and Vice Ganda as the new “faces of MOR.” From then on, the official ABS-CBN FM Station in Metro and Mega Manila ruled the hearts of on-air listeners and online viewers in the country and abroad.

Admission to the MOR Pinoy Music Awards is free and is happening on July 11 (Friday) at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
