Michael Pangilinan's hit song, "Pare mahal mo raw ako?" is now also a movie

After the success of Joven Tan’s song entry in Himig Handog Song Festival 2014, “Pare Mahal mo raw ako” here comes the movie version. “Pare Mahal Mo Raw Ako" will be distributed by Viva Films this March. Premiere night/ Advance Screening was held at UP Adarna Theater inside the UP Campus.

 

The premiere night was graced by movie stars Edgar Allan Guzman and Michael Pangilinan (in his first acting debut) playing the role of best friends, Mark and Red respectively.

The story is about Mark who is in love with his best friend, who is clueless about his sexuality. Will he reveal his true feelings and risk the friendship? On the part of Red, will he reciprocate the feelings or evade his best friend?

This is the first movie of Michael Pangilinan, he is known as the "Your Face Sounds Familiar" finalist and great singer. And for the first timer when it comes to acting he is very good, he did well and gave justice to his role. 

Edgar is playing the role of closet gay, who is in love with Michael's character. According to him, he doesn't want to expect acting nomonation or an award on this movie. For me, he is the perfect guy for this movie. 

Pare mahal mo raw ako movie also starring Katrina "Hopia" Legaspi, Ana Capri, Joross Gamboa, and Ms. Nora Aunor. This movie is not just your ordinary gay movie, this will show how important the family and friends.
